Marketing your affiliate products and programs is one of the hardest parts of owning an internet business.  Thankfully there are many ways you can do this.  Which methods of marketing you use will have a trial and error period to it.  An area that should not be overlooked is the use of traffic exchanges so for today’s post I thought I would tell you about three of the top traffic exchanges.

Traffic Swarm is an Internet marketing service that delivers free, targeted traffic to web sites in its expanding network.  Membership is free but a pro membership is available for $30.00 per month.  A few of the perks that go with the pro membership are, 2500 credits are automatically added to your account every month, featured sites rotation with other pro members and the ability to promote unlimited sites instead of ten.

Soaring4Traffic is a free exchange that allows you to advertise web sites, banners and text links.  Upgrades are available for $8.99 per month which gives you 450 credits per month, reduced timer and the ability to promote 15 websites.  A $12.99 upgrade is also available which gives you 650 credits per month, another timer reduction and the ability to promote 25 websites.

Traffic Splash is another free to join traffic exchange which is very similar to Soaring4Traffic.  Traffic Splash allows you to advertise five websites, banners and text links.  Membership upgrades are available for $4.97 and $9.97 per month.  For the $4.97 price you can advertise up to ten websites, receive 200 credits, 500 banner ads and 500 text ads per month.  For the $9.97 per month rate you can advertise up to twenty websites, receive 500 credits per month, 2500 banner ads and 2500 text ads per month.

As you can see, these three exchanges all have different upgrades offering different amounts of credits and or banner/text impressions.  That is because each exchange uses different credit systems.  For example a click at traffic swarm might get you 3 credits per click but at Traffic Splash you may only get a fraction of a credit.  This is because your impressions are being charged credits on a different scale.
