Teens earn money on the internet and through the many jobs they find in their local communities. The business world as we know it has changed. It is no longer dominated by the wealthy who have thousands of dollars that were once needed to invest in a business opportunity. Opportunities are everywhere, on and off the internet, for teens to earn some extra cash for all the things they need for everyday life.

For those that consider yourself a make money teen, here is some help and advice from somebody who has been there.

1. Get Paid To Take Surveys – Every year big companies pay millions of dollars for advertising and research. A lot of that research money goes out to people just like you and I who take surveys. Surveys are used to determine what kind of advertising strategies may be the most effective for any given product.

Survey companies are everywhere on the net. Some are free to join and others require a usually small investment, somewhere around $25.00 to get started. Be sure that whatever survey companies you sign up with have a large business base so there will be a lot of surveys for you to take.

2. Build Your Own Website Or Blog – If you have a product to sell or know of somebody who does, why not start your own website or blog. Once you learn the skills that are necessary to market your website or blog you will be able to earn a nice income. And unlike an affiliate program where you earn a certain percentage of what you sell; you will be able to pocket all the profits.

Google’s Blogger, located at blogger.com, is an easy way to start your own blog, and it is free. Blogging is an internet marketing phenomenon that most businesses use to get the word out about what they are selling and it is a great way to establish yourself as an expert in the area of your choice.

3. Start Your Own Home Business – If you consider yourself a true entrepreneur, why not start a small business from your home. There are jobs that we have all done as teenagers at one time or another to earn some extra money. A few of the jobs I used to do as a teen include washing cars, mowing yards, painting houses and making cement driveways. Almost anything I could do to earn some extra cash.

These jobs may not be the most glamorous but remember you are trying to earn enough money to get yourself out of the house Friday and or Saturday night without hitting up Mom and Dad for some cash.

I have only scratched the surface on how teens earn money in the business world of today. Some of the ideas I have provided are old and some are new. Think about what you would like to do and take some form of action. I wish you the best of success, your friend, Tim Stokes.
