Today’s stay at home moms are very different from the stay at home moms of the fifties and sixties.  They still love being a mother but today they are more independent and outgoing.  With the computer age came the internet allowing these moms to have access to several work at home jobs.  Let’s take a look at some great business ideas for stay at home moms.

I have a great deal of respect for all stay at home moms.  I don’t know how my mom managed to raise four little hellions, (I was the worst, just ask her), and maintain her sanity.  Thankfully today, business ideas for stay at home moms are plentiful.  Ideas such as paid surveys, data entry and writing jobs are great ways to turn a profit.

Join a reputable survey company that has several clients offering money for paid surveys.  The more clients a company has they more likely you will qualify for a particular program and earn some money.  Survey companies also offer discussion groups where you get together with other members to discuss your opinions on a certain product.  These discussion groups also usually have higher payouts then regular surveys.

2. Data Entry- Since the advent of the internet, the need for data entry workers has climbed.  Some companies need data entry for entering people’s names, address etc. and others may need advertisements written using selected keywords.  Data entry most often requires a typist that can enter information quickly and accurately.  If this is you, a home data entry business may be just the ticket you are looking for.
