Are you an internet marketing newbie? If so don’t be embarrassed, we were all new at the beginning of our new career. After stumbling and fumbling around during my newbie period I have found some things that can help us all earn money with the internet.
Today I am going to discuss a secret that can help you start earning money online even though you may be an internet marketing newbie.
Coming to terms with why you want to make money online will help you focus on finding the best methods to help you on your way. There are so many ways to earn money online that you can actually waste a good deal of time trying things that have no hope of making you a solid income.
If you are starting an online business with the hopes that you will make a couple hundred dollars a month, you may want to change your strategy. You would be much better off taking online surveys or some form of data entry.
But if your goals are for a long term income you may want to start a blog in a particular niche that you enjoy. Thousands of people are earning a full time income blogging. Many of these people never made a dime in the first few months of their business but were able to succeed simply because they refused to give up.
It didn’t matter that they weren’t earning a lot of money in the beginning simply because they loved what they were doing. After a lot of content was submitted they were eventually awarded a lot of traffic from the search engines that picked up their sites from the keywords they were using.
Some of these bloggers were able to turn some of that traffic into a steady income simply by selling advertising to their blog. None of this would have been made possible without first understanding why they wanted to earn money.
So, what is the reason you want to start earning money online? Maybe it’s quitting your job that excites you, paying your bills, traveling or just maybe there is a big twenty six foot fishing boat you have had your eye on for some time now, (that last one was mine!!). Take a step back and figure out what your motivation is, establish a game plan and take action. Good luck to you, Tim Stokes.

For people new to making money on the Internet, there are so many choices, but not all are good ones. I think you have presented one of the better choices in starting a blog. A blog gives you an opportunity to bring in readers who are interested in the topics you write about. You can add products or services that relate to that topic and make potential sales as you build a loyal following. All of this takes time of course, but can definitely be rewarding and does offer the potential for earning a good living.

Very good points. When I was a newbie, I sifted through a lot of useless crap. I then realized that making a couple hundred a month would not happen as quickly as I had hoped. You’re right, it’s better to look toward the long-term. I believe blogging is a great way to get started, and having perseverance is the key to success.
Why do I want to earn money online? It’s gratifying to do something that I truly enjoy. Many people give up, but I can stand proud and say that I’ve toughed it out until I started seeing a profit. That’s the most rewarding thing, I think, for me.
