Achieving success the affiliate earning way means never giving up and marketing your business with a passion.  You have got to take your business seriously and not treat it like a hobby.  If you maintain that hobby attitude you are going to see little results, no results means no money.

Money should not be the main factor for working your home business properly.  It is a factor but the main reason should be it’s because you like it.  When I start something I know if I am going to like it within a week or two.  I have tried various programs to make a home business work for me.  All of them I quit within a week or two because I didn’t like what I was doing.  The potential for making money was there but the programs just bored me to death.  No excitement no joy, that’s how I look at it.

The business I now work, affiliate marketing, I know now I am addicted to.  Let me tell you why.  First, three months have past and I still can’t wait to check my e-mails in the morning.  Seeing people take an interest in what I am doing and being able to help them is a good feeling.

Second, I still eagerly check my website stats and get excited as I see my stats grow every week.  I love to check out my website keywords on the search engines and still get really excited when I see my website, blogs and articles on the first page.

But the determining factor for me when I knew I was hooked by affiliate marketing is I do the everyday things that are not so much fun for me.  An integral part of marketing is blogging and article writing.  You must do these things to make your presence known to the search engines.  But I really don’t like to write, I have said to myself many times, “Why of all things does writing have to be so important to marketing, why couldn’t it be something else?”.  But I do a lot of writing, I blog and submit articles regularly.

That is how I know I really like this new business, I do the things that are important to the big picture because I need to do them, not because I necessarily like to do them.  There are plenty of you out there that just love to write, you will go far with an affiliate marketing business.

I guess the point of this article is to become a successful earning affiliate you must be passionate about your work.  You have to like what you are doing and you must also do the things you don’t like to do to get your business going.  Try to think about why you started your business in the first place.  Freedom, fun and financial independence are mine.  Good luck with your affiliate marketing program or what ever business you decide on, and thank you for letting me, “Bend your ear for a while”.
