Last month I had the opportunity to join the MyWorldPlus discount savings and affiliate program through a friend of mine.  Since it was only twenty dollars a month to sign up I thought I would give it a try and see what happens.  The following is my take of the potential for earning a nice income and how good the product really is.

First off, MyWorldPlus is a discount savings program where you can get discounts from online retail stores, hotels, restaurants and everything in between.  Available discounts are determined by location.  Since I live here in South Carolina, which seems to be about ten years behind everybody else, I didn’t think there would be very many discounts available for my area.

I was really surprised by all of the different locations that participated in this program.  I was able to find quite a few businesses that I regularly go to.  My next thought was that I bet this is going to be a real hassle to get these coupons redeemed.  I finally said what the heck lets give it a go.

I found a discount coupon for the place where I get my hair cut and I printed it out from the MyWorldPlus website.  I went to my hair place, (notice I didn’t say salon!!), presented the coupon to the clerk and without a bit of hesitation I received $2.00 off my haircut.  Since the beginning of this month I have been able to save $40.45 which means this program has already paid for itself.

Next we will talk a little about the pay plan.  When you sign up you have the opportunity to join as an affiliate or just use the discounts.  The monthly costs are the same but the initial signup fee is a little more.  This seemed a little odd to me but I decided to go as a full member.

As an affiliate you will make twenty five dollars for every paying member you sign up.  You also earn eight dollars for second generation signups, five for third generation and three for fourth generation.  This pay plan is residual so as members renew each month you earn a nice check.

On top of that you can earn infinity bonuses where you can earn up to 18% of every member’s order in your entire organization beyond your 5th level every month, generation bonuses which pay out on an additional nine generations and bonus pools where an entire 10% of all company volume is split amongst all members who achieve ranks.

I have read some articles and seen some complaining on some forums that claim this program is a scam.  I’m not the smartest guy in the world but I am pretty sure I know what a scam is.  This program is not a scam, it is the real deal.

As I sit here in my favorite shorts, having a nice cold beverage, it is really clear to me why I like being a home business owner.  However it may not be clear to you so I’ll try and paint a nice picture for you.  Maybe you will find some things will supply motivation for you to get started with your own home business.
